A Story Written in Conviction, Love & Pure Nourishment
Born from a mother's heartfelt wish in 2005 to create pure nourishment for families, leading to a 100% women-run food processing plant in Saran, Bihar — prioritizing wholesome nutrition over all else.
A Mother's Conviction That Shaped Our Foundation
In 2005, within our founder's home, a quiet and life-defining dialogue took shape. His wife — a mother devoted to the wellbeing of families — shared a heartfelt conviction: "A family's livelihood should come from something that brings pure vitality, health, and blessing to people's homes, never from what causes them harm."
Guided by her wish and deep conviction, our founder, Late Mr. U. S. Aasu, made the conscious decision to divest from tobacco gradually, redirecting his focus and resources to lay the foundation of an honest agro-processing enterprise rooted in the staple foods of Bihar: Chana Sattu, Besan, and Makka Sattu.
The Meaning Behind "Mamtaasu"
Our company's name is a sacred blend of two souls:
The instinctive, unbending love of a mother who never compromises on what feeds her children.
The father's vision, courage, and perseverance to build a resilient platform for that care.
Our emblem — a protective heart sheltering "FP" (Food Products) — reminds us of that vow on every single bag we seal.
100% Women-Run Production Floor
Located in Ayodhya Nagar, Sandha, Saran (Bihar), our production plant operates unlike typical industrial setups:
Where Food Is Made With Maternal Devotion, Not Detached Machinery
When a mother prepares food, she doesn't calculate cost-per-gram or look for cheap fillers. She asks: "Is this wholesome? Would I feed this to my own children?"
At MFPPL, that question governs every working hour. By placing plant leadership in the hands of the mother and employing an all-women workforce on the production floor, we have institutionalized that care.
Their practiced eyes reject grains with even minor blemishes during sorting. Their intuition ensures the sand roast reaches that exact fragrant golden blush without bitterness. It is a level of personal devotion that automated mega-factories simply cannot bottle.
Late Mr. U. S. Aasu
Visionary Founder & Guiding Light
In April 2026, we bade farewell to our revered founder, Mr. U. S. Aasu. He lived with quiet resolve, moral courage, and an unshakable faith that righteousness in business is the greatest gift one can leave to the next generation.
It was his courage to honor his wife's wish in 2005 and pioneer an honest staple brand in Bihar that set our journey in motion. Though he is no longer with us, his voice echoes in every decision we make, every grain we mill, and every family we serve.
"Your legacy of honesty, maternal care, and unwavering dignity remains our sacred trust."
The Craft: How We Make Food Different
Modern mass factories use high-speed pulverizers and artificial flavors. We believe nothing beats the patience of authentic sand roasting and traditional stone chakki milling.
Authentic Sand Roasting
Bengal gram is gently roasted in river sand at monitored temperatures. This traditional method heats each grain evenly to the core, releasing the authentic roasted aroma while unlocking high-bioavailability plant proteins.
Traditional Stone Chakki Milling
We reject high-heat industrial pulverizers that heat and denature the flour. Instead, we use slow-turning stone chakkis that grind grains at cool temperatures, preserving natural vitamins, enzymes, and coarse dietary fiber.
Aroma-Lock 3-Layer Packaging
Once milled, our flours are promptly sealed in moisture-barrier 3-layer food pouches. This seals in the fresh roasted aroma and protects against regional humidity without the need for synthetic chemical preservatives.
